RALEIGH, N.C. — Wednesday will be a beautiful day, meteorologist Elizabeth Gardner said, with some clouds and temperatures in the 70s.

A cold front is moving east, but it’s not expected to bring a big drop in temperatures or any rain. It will bring some cloud coverage, though.

The Triangle’s dew point is in the 60s, which makes it feel muggy outside. Drier air is behind the cold front.

While there’s a fair amount of moisture in the air, Gardner said, visibility is mostly clear.

Temperatures will get into the low 70s Wednesday.

Current Temperatures, DMA

Thursday morning will be in the high 40s before climbing up to the 70s again.

There’s a chance for thunderstorms Friday through Monday as another cold front comes through and stalls on Saturday. High temperatures will stay in the 70s.

Storms could be severe on Sunday.
