— Getting bored while stuck at home and looking for a new video game? Golf's got you.

The PGA Tour announced a new partnership with video game publisher 2K on Wednesday, and with it a new video game: PGA Tour 2K21.

The news comes amid a strange time in the golf gaming world. After the EA Sports' Tiger Woods PGA Tour series games ended back in 2013, there hasn't been much content for golf video game fans, despite an attempt to revitalize it in 2015 with the release of Rory McIlroy PGA Tour -- which hasn't really been updated since.

Fans have instead turned to The Golf Club, where users create their own players -- but that's not always as fun as playing as your fave golfer.

Enter 2K, known for their mega popular NBA and NFL games. Though no details have been released about the new partnership with the PGA Tour -- more information is promised for May 14 -- the move could signal a much-needed rejuvenation in the world of golf gaming.
