RALEIGH, N.C. — On a day when Congress met to try and certify the results of the presidential election only to see their session postponed by protests, a couple dozen people on both sides of that debate exchanged curses and chants in downtown Raleigh.

There were more members of a group called Turning Point USA who wanted to join the protest in Washington, D.C., for buses to accommodate, so about 60 people rallied in support of President Trump outside the state capitol.

A group formed in opposition on the other side of the street, and the crowd shouted back and forth at each other throughout the afternoon.
