RALEIGH, N.C. — It's another busy weekend across the Triangle!

Festivals and fun

Thrive NC (City Market, 214 E Martin Street, Raleigh) - This sold-out food festival takes over City Market in downtown Raleigh Thursday and Friday nights.
Durham International Jazz Festival (Durty Bull Brewing Company, 206 Broadway Street, Durham) - This free festival starts at 1 p.m. Saturday.
2019 Walk MS: Fayetteville (Festival Park, Rowan Street and Ray Avenue, Fayetteville) - An estimated 350 people are expected to raise more than $36,000 for people living with multiple sclerosis on Saturday at Festival Park.

The Great Puppy Parade (242 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh) - This Saturday parade through downtown Raleigh features prizes, costume contests, drinks for you and snacks for your pup. A portion of ticket sales goes to Cause for Paws.
Family Movie Night (The Green at Southern Village, 400 Market Street, Chapel Hill) - Join the Chapel Hill Service League on Saturday at Southern Village for a showing of Pixar's "WALL-E."
Fridays on the Front Porch (Carolina Inn, 211 Pittsboro Street, Chapel Hill) - Sip on crafted cocktails while listening to live music and enjoying featured food trucks.
Holly Springs Farmers Market (Holly Springs Cultural Center, 300 West Ballentine Street, Holly Springs) - The HSFM is a free, family-friendly event in downtown Holly Springs with live music and kids' activities weekly.

Ponysaurus Brewing Co. Summer Movie Series (Ponysaurus Brewing Co., 219 Hood Street, Durham) - Ponysaurus hosts this free movie summer every Sunday.
Rocky Mount Mills 5k (Rocky Mount Mills, 1151 Falls Road, Rocky Mount) - Rocky Mount Mills hosts this 5k on Saturday featuring craft beer and food trucks.

Earth, Wind & Fire (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh) - The legendary music group plays Red Hat Amphitheater Raleigh on Friday night.
Lizzo (The Ritz, 2820 Industrial Drive, Raleigh) - See this singer, songwriter and rapper at The Ritz Friday night.
Pink Martini with the North Carolina Symphony (Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 East South Street, Raleigh) - Pink Martini is part big band, part classical ensemble, part salsa troupe and all fun. See them with the NC Symphony Friday and Saturday.
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - Long before she was Carole King, chart-topping music legend, she was Carol Klein, Brooklyn girl with passion and chutzpah. See King's musical journey on stage at DPAC through Sunday.
Bryan Adams (Red Hat Amphitheater, 500 S. McDowell Street, Raleigh) - Canadian icon Bryan Adams brings his "Shine A Light" world tour to Red Hat Amphitheater on Sunday.
Music of the Carolinas: Chatham Rabbits (North Carolina Museum of History, 5 East Edenton Street, Raleigh) - Sarah Osborne McCombie and Austin McCombie met because of music, and today they play old-time music together full-time.
Open Mic Stand-Up Comedy (Durty Bull Brewing Company, 206 Broadway St Ste 104, Durham) - Come out to the brewery from 8-9:30 pm each week to enjoy a free show put on by Rob Schneider Comedy. Arrive early for a good seat and to grab some food from the night's truck before the show!
Beehive: The 60's Musical (Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Kennedy Theatre, 2 East South Street, Raleigh) - The ultimate celebration of 1960's female empowerment. Featuring such timeless classics as "My Boyfriend's Back," "Be My Baby," "Son of a Preacher Man," and "Me and Bobby McGee."
