RALEIGH, N.C. — An annual race, some comedy and much more coming up this weekend!

Food and Fun

Krispy Kreme Challenge (North Carolina State University (NCSU) - Bell Tower, 2011 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh) - 2400 calories, 12 doughnuts, 5 miles, 1 hour. This 16th annual race starts and ends at the N.C. State Bell Tower on Saturday. It includes running to Krispy Kreme, eating a dozen doughnuts and running back to the finish line - all to raise money for the UNC Children's Hospital.
2020 Good Food Awards NC Showcase (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - Fullsteam Brewery is bringing together North Carolina's Good Food Award winners and finalists to showcase delicious and sustainably-minded products on Saturday afternoon.
Crank Arm Sunday Yoga (Crank Arm Brewing, 319 West Davie Street, Raleigh) - Class starts at 10:45 am and ends just a bit before noon. Admission includes a 9 oz. beer and a portion goes to Triangle Spokes Group to provide bicycles for children in need.
Everything Bagels Pop-Up (The Durham Hotel, 315 East Chapel Hill Street, Durham) - Everything Bagels returns to The Durham on Saturday morning. Get a taste of their bagels before they move into their permanent home at the Durham Food Hall.
28th Annual American Indian Powwow (North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, 1219 Broad St., Durham) - This family-friendly event features music, dance, arts, crafts and food on Saturday in Durham. The event hosts American Indian dancers, musicians, and artists from across North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia and is a fun way to learn about and celebrate the region's rich American Indian culture.
Groundhog Day (North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences - Nature Research Center, 121 W. Jones St., Raleigh) - Meet Sir Walter Wally the groundhog and get his prognostication for the next six weeks during an event at Bicentennial Plaza in downtown Raleigh on Sunday.

Rent (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - This original rock musical forever changed the landscape of American theatre. See it on stage at DPAC through Sunday.
The Second City: Laughing For All The Wrong Reasons (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan St., Durham) - The comedy troupe brings this all-new revue to Carolina Theatre of Durham Friday night.
Pat McGann (Raleigh Improv, 1224 Parkside Main Street, Cary) - A relative latecomer to the scene, Pat began stand up at the age of 31 after realizing he was not very good at selling packaging. He has toured with Sebastian Maniscalco and performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Montreal's famed Just For Laughs Festival. See him Thursday through Saturday.
International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan St., Durham) - If you loved the "Pitch Perfect" films, you probably need to check this event out at Carolina Theatre of Durham on Saturday. This is the only international tournament that showcases the art of student a cappella singing.
