Lots of fun festivals coming up this weekend, plus some live music!

Festivals and Foodie Fun

Beericana (Sugg Farm Park, 2401 Grigsby Avenue, Holly Springs) - This craft beer and music festival will be held Saturday at Sugg Farm Park in Holly Springs.
2019 NC Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival (Lafayette Village, 8450 Honeycutt Rd, Raleigh) - Enjoy samples of local and regional chocolates and cheeses, plus wine from different regions of Italy, Spain, France and the U.S. during this event on Saturday at Lafayette Village.
Sir Walter Smoke-Off (R&D Brewing, 1323 Capital Boulevard, Raleigh) - Over a dozen professional barbecue teams will compete for the coveted Sir Walter Smoke-Off Golden Pig Trophy and up to $1,000 in prize money at this event on Saturday at R&D Brewery.
Raleigh Grilled Cheese Festival 2019 (The MAC Sports and Entertainment, 8924 Midway West Rd, Raleigh) - Grilled cheese samples, live music, games, a Bloody Mary Garden, beer, and a Mimosa Bar are part of this Saturday event.
Festifall (West Franklin Street, Chapel Hill) - This annual arts celebration will be held on Saturday in Chapel Hill. There will be live music, an arts market, a family fun zone and more fun.
Chatham Hill Winery
Triangle Ferment Fest (Chatham Hill Winery, 8245 Chapel Hill Road, Cary) - This unique food festival that both teaches and celebrates all things fermented is Sunday at Chatham Hill Winery.
Double Barley Brewing 6 Year Anniversary (Double Barley Brewing, 3174 Hwy 70 W, Smithfield) - The brewery will celebrate its anniversary with special beer releases all weekend, live music and special brunch offerings.
Downtown Cary Food & Flea (Downtown Cary Food & Flea, 100 W. Chatham Street, Cary) - There will be over 60 artisans and vendors, live music, dessert, coffee, food trucks, beer from Bond Brothers Beer Company and Cotton House Craft Brewers on Sunday afternoon in downtown Cary.
Harvest Dinner (Raleigh City Farm, 800 North Blount Street, Raleigh) - Raleigh City Farm is hosting this four-course dinner under the stars on Sunday night featuring Chef Coleen Speaks of Hummingbird.
Second Sunday at City Market (City Market, 214 E Martin St, Raleigh) - Enjoy family-friendly activities, DJ Thee Handsome Robb and an indoor artisan market with over 30 vendors on Sunday at City Market.

Luke Bryan: Sunset Repeat Tour 2019 (Coastal Credit Union Music Park, 3801 Rock Quarry Rd., Raleigh) - The singer plays Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh on Saturday.
Godfrey (Raleigh Improv, 1224 Parkside Main Street, Cary) - Growing up in Chicago, Godfrey constantly got in trouble for misbehaving and being an all around class clown. He has since become an actor and comedy. See him at Raleigh Improv this weekend.
Aladdin (Durham Performing Arts Center, 123 Vivian St., Durham) - Discover a whole new world at this hit Broadway musical at DPAC. The show runs through Oct. 26.
Full Moon Party (Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park at North Hills, 4011 Cardinal at North Hills St., Raleigh) - This party on Saturday at Midtown Park will include Moon Taxi in concert, food trucks and local beer. Tickets start at $20.
Ales for Trails 5K (Fullsteam Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham) - This ninth annual 5K starts and finishes at Fullsteam Brewery on Sunday. Runners will be rewarded with a custom Ales for Trails pint glass filled with Fullsteam ale and will be entered to win prizes and gift certificates from several local businesses.

Help Others

Walk for Hope (Angus Barn Restaurant, 9401 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh) - This annual walk helps raise money for local mental health research. The walk starts at 10 a.m. at the Angus Barn on Sunday.
Chefs to End Childhood Hunger (Poole's Downtown Diner, 426 S McDowell St, Raleigh) - Ashley Christensen and a serious line up of five talented chefs from around the country will join together to fight childhood hunger during this event on Sunday.
le Tour de Femme (Carolina Brewing Company, 140 Thomas Mill Rd, Holly Springs) - This is a women's-only 62 mile, 31 mile and 15 mile bicycle ride in Holly Springs on Saturday. All funds raised for le Tour de Femme are divided between the Rex Healthcare Foundation's Angel Fund and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

Halloween Fun

Midtown Pumpkin Palooza (North Hills Commons, 4321 Lassiter Rd., Raleigh) - Head to North Hills on Sunday afternoon for this event featuring a chili cook-off, live music, carved pumpkin contest, sports trivia, raffles, Oktoberfest food and beer from Trophy brewing and a huge kid zone of activities.
A Hocus Pocus Halloween (Carolina Theatre of Durham, 309 W. Morgan St., Durham) - Enjoy a family-friendly screening of this Halloween classic on Friday night at Carolina Theatre.
