Raleigh's First Haunted Car Wash (Splash Car Wash, 8012 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh) - Splash Car Wash, located at Ten-Ten Road and Highway 401 is presenting its first ever Haunted Car Wash, named the Night of Nightmares. This intense haunted house will be outside of your car as you drive through the car wash. It runs Friday through Sunday and again Oct. 29 and 30. Admission is $20 per car and $10 for fast pass members.

The Car Wash Lodge's Tunnel of Lost Souls (4717 Hwy 42 West Garner) - This haunted car wash is happening Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $24 and may be purchased online until the day of the event, VIP Unlimited Wash members may purchase their tickets on-site during the event for $15, customers can choose to wait until arriving at the event to purchase on-site for $30.

Spellbound Square (Moore Square Park, 200 South Blount Street, Raleigh) - Moore Square Park will be filled with spooky fun from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. There will be fortune tellers, spooky crafts and pumpkin decorating. Enjoy handmade treats, a costume contest and stage performances.

Halloween Party (Lonerider Brewing Company, 8816 Gulf Ct, Raleigh) - Lonerider will host this Halloween party on Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. There will be a DJ, plus cocktails and beer. Dress up for the costume contest and enter your carved pumpkin for a chance to win a prize.

Halloween Weekend at the Taproom (The Glass Jug Beer Lab - Downtown Durham, 545 Foster St Suite 10, Durham) - The Glass Jug Beer Lab in downtown Durham will be celebrating Halloween all weekend with movies, free candy and the release of its hot mulled cider.

Boofest (North Carolina Museum of Life and Science, 433 W. Murray Ave., Durham) - Gather your gremlins for this event Saturday at the Museum of Life and Science. The fun runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes Not-So-Scary Stories and your chance to create your own BooBubbles.

Marbles Kooky Spooky Halloween Party (Marbles Kids Museum, 201 E Hargett St, Raleigh) - Experience the magic of Marbles after dark at this family-friendly Halloween spooktacular with activities like the Mad Scientist Lab, Monster Mash Dance Party and more on Friday night. Limited tickets are available, as the event will have a reduced capacity.

Fall Fest 2021 (Grace Church of Durham, 1417 Cole Mill Road, Durham) - Grace Church of Durham will host this fall festival on Saturday night from 7 to 9 p.m. there will be a drive-in movie, trunk or treat and concessions.

Halloween Spooktacular (Central Orange Recreation, 302 West Tryon Street, Hillsborough) - This event will be held Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. in Hillsborough. The event will include a costume contest, pumpkin decorating, cakewalks, bingo, pumpkin hunt, pumpkin bingo, and inflatables. All festivities will be held outside and each section limited to 200 participants to allow for social distancing.

Halloween Spooktacular (Cary VFW Post 7383, 522 Reedy Creek Road, Cary) - The Cary VFW will host this trunk or treat event from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday night.

Knightdale Trunk or Treat (Knightdale Station Park, 810 First Avenue, Knightdale) - Enjoy this trunk or treat event in Knightdale on Friday night from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. there will be food trucks and an outdoor movie screening after the event.

Fall Festival at John Chavis Memorial Park (Chavis Park and Recreation Center, 505 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Raleigh) - Enjoy a day filled with treats, arts and crafts, food trucks, music and more fun! It will be happening at John Chavis Memorial Park on Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Halloween Fun and Concert at Peach Road (Peach Road Park, 911 Ileagnes Road, Raleigh) - Head to Peach Road Park on Saturday for some Halloween fun. There will games, crafts and STEAM activities.

Elephant & Piggie's "We Are in a Play!" (Louise "Scotty" Stephenson Amphitheatre at Raleigh Little Theatre, 301 Pogue Street, Raleigh) - Raleigh Little Theatre presents this show about an elephant named Gerald and a pig named Piggie. The show runs through Oct. 31. The show is one hour with no intermission. Masks are not required for this outdoor show. They are encouraged in outdoor common spaces and required indoors.

Star Wars & More - North Carolina Symphony Pops (Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - Meymandi Concert Hall, 2 E. South St., Raleigh) - Kick off Halloween weekend with music from epic John Williams scores including Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, E.T., and of course, music from Star Wars. The show runs Thursday through Saturday nights at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh.

Cinema in the Square (Moore Square, 226 E Martin Street, Raleigh) - Every Friday in October enjoy movie-musical fun in Moore Square. There will be pre-show entertainment on theme with each movie before a full-length screening outside under the stars. The series is free and open to the public and food will be available for purchase on-site. This week's movie is "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Pre-show fun starts at 6 p.m. with the movie at 7 p.m.

Cloudstoberfest (Clouds Brewing Taproom, 1233 Front Street, Raleigh) - Clouds Brewing hosts its sixth annual Oktoberfeset this weekend. From Friday through Sunday, there will be traditional German music and food, plus craft beer.

Dix Park Pow Pow (Dorothea Dix Park, 101 Blair Drive, Raleigh) - The community is invited to experience a day of competition dancing, music, and vendors showcasing the incredible legacy and culture of Indigenous communities living in North Carolina today during this event Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Dix Park.

Apex Oktoberfest (Downtown Apex, 1290 Ambergate Station, Apex) - Enjoy Oktoberfest fun on Saturday starting at 8 a.m. in downtown Apex. There will be a car show, chili cook-off, corn hole, music, beer garden and family fun.
