Cape Fear Regional Theatre is committed to presenting an annual series of professional, quality plays, performances and special events that, in addition to entertaining, will enlighten, inspire, and educate performers and audiences. CFRT seeks diversity in its artists, as well as its audiences. The Theatre brings together a unique combination of artists: professional from outside the region, regional professionals, and non-professionals. CFRT seeks to maintain a working environment of mutual respect and support, creative freedom, and collaboration.
Every holiday season the theatre is alive with the sounds of excited children coming to see "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" and every eight weeks the Studio Share Night provides children ages pre-school to high school the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned while studying at CFRT. In the summer we have theatre camps that give children an opportunity to participate in a staged play or musical.
