Triangle Area Parenting Support will be hosting a Picnic Palooza with three sessions on Saturday, June 26, at Raleigh's Fletcher Park. The event will include a free picnic, local music, a magic show and more.
The Holly Springs Salamanders will have home games at Ting Park Friday, June 25, and Saturday, June 26. It's a collegiate baseball league.
North Carolina FC will host the Richmond Kickers at 7 p.m., Friday, June 25, at WakeMed Soccer Park. And North Carolina Courage will host the Portland Thorns at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 26, also at WakeMed Soccer Park.
Dix Park's Movies on the Lawn will have a date night theme. "50 First Dates" is on the schedule. Gates open at 7 p.m., and the movie starts around 8:30 p.m., Saturday, June 26, It's free.
At North Hills, Alara + Zane will host a family field day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, June 26. Tickets start at $32. It takes place at Midtown Park. The morning includes a family game competition, bounce house, water play and more. Best for families with kids ages 1 to 12.
The N.C. Museum of Art will host a live version of its Mindful Museum program for kids. It's at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 26, at the museum. Tickets are $10.73 and all participants ages 7 and up must have a ticket. The program is best for kids ages 6 and up and will incorporate yoga, art and basic mindfulness techniques.
And Booth Amphitheatre has two outdoor concerts this weekend — Classics Under the Stars on Saturday, June 26, and bluegrass music on Sunday, June 27.
