Raleigh

Raleigh Little Theatre's extended run of "Seussical" continues through Sunday and includes a Saturday, Feb. 29, sensory-friendly performance. It all takes place at the Cantey V. Sutton Theatre, which is near Raleigh's Cameron Village. Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for kids. (Tickets may be limited.)
The N.C. State Capitol and N.C. African American Heritage Commission will present a Black History Month Read-in from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29. The free event features readings by authors, musicians, poets, scholars, orators and more.
Cary author Gillian McDunn​​​​​​​ will stop at Quail Ridge Books at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29, with her new book "The Queen Bee and Me" for ages 8 to 13. McDunn is the author of the highly acclaimed book "Caterpillar Summer."
KoreaFest 2020​​​​​​​ is 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29, at the Kerr Scott Building at the NC State Fairgrounds. The annual event features Korean food, music, K-pop, K-beauty and more. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Kids under 8 are free.

Chapel Hill

UNC's women's basketball team plays Duke at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 1, at Carmichael Arena. Tickets are $10.

Cary

Upscale Resale will hold its children's consignment sale this week. The long-running sale is open to the public 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27 and Friday, Feb. 28, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29. Some items are half off on Saturday. It takes place at Cary Towne Center.
Sledding tickets are sold out, but Waverly Place will have other activities for families during its annual Snow Day event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 29. They include lawn games, a DJ, cookie decorating, balloon twisting and more.
Cary Youth Theatre will present The Velveteen Rabbit with performances at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28 and Saturday, Feb. 29, and 3 p.m., Sunday, March 1. It takes place at the Cary Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for adults; $8 for students and seniors; and $5 for kids age 5 and under.
The Cary Theater will host a Robin Williams retrospective this weekend. Not every movie is intended for all audiences, but the series includes Mrs. Doubtfire, which is rated PG-13, at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 1. Tickets are $6.
