81-year-old man died from injuries received during Angier fire
An 81-year-old man was injured in a house fire Wednesday in Harnett County.

ANGIER, N.C. — An 81-year-old man pulled out of a house fire by firefighters died on Wednesday night.
The fire broke out at a home in the 6000 block of N.C. Highway 55 in Angier, just before 5 p.m.
A woman was able to get out of the house, but fire crews had to escort Johnnie Lee Judd, according to officials.
Judd was taken to Central Harnett Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Fire officials said the cause of the fire was to believed to be accidental, but an investigation was ongoing.
