Falcon, N.C. — The Monday death of a Cumberland County woman was confirmed Wednesday to be the result of Hurricane Matthew.
Authorities said that Isabelle Ralls, 81, of Falcon, was found dead inside her vehicle in the 100 block of Rhodes Pond Road at about 3:20 p.m. Monday.
According to the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office, Ralls’ death was the result of accidental drowning in floodwaters.
