While there are so many beautiful outdoor areas to explore in the City of Oaks, our great capital has its fair share of fun activities that are perfect to explore the next time it rains.

On rainy days, it's natural for kids to get restless with pent-up energy. A trip to Frankie's Fun Park is the perfect cure. With a variety of indoor activities like bumper cars, virtual reality experiences, rides, laser tag, and arcade games, it'll be impossible for your kids to get bored.

Best of all, the food, drinks, and activities are fun for adults as well. If the weather clears up while you're there, head outside for even more adventures by racing go-karts, playing mini-golf, and hitting the batting cages.

5. Tap into your inner child at Boxcar Bar + Arcade
