— A 72-year-old man was on a conference call with 20 people when he was murdered by his son on Thursday, officials said.

Witness reported to officials that they saw the man fall out of the screen during the call, and a naked man approach him.

"A review of the video appears that he had been attacked," said a spokesperson from the Suffolk County Police Department.

Others on the Zoom group chat called 911, officials said.

"All I saw was a bald naked man, went into this room, ripped bed sheets off the bed, placed them on the ground as if he was covering something up," a witness said. "Then, he covers up the camera so nobody sees."

The 32-year-old suspect ran away from the home when the authorities arrived. Officials arrested him about a mile away from the scene.
