The Triangle is ringing in the New Year with mild weather.
Temperatures will be in the upper 60s on Tuesday and could reach 70 degrees by noon.
Rain is possible Tuesday morning, although it won’t be heavy, WRAL meteorologist Kat Campbell said.
It was drizzling in some areas early Tuesday.
Gusts could get up to 30 mph early Tuesday before slowing around 9 a.m.
Wednesday will remain mostly dry until rain moves in during the evening. A cold front will bring temperatures down to the 50s.
