<b>SPRING LAKE, N.C.</b> — Spring Lake police said 6-year-old Lucas Kinlaw has been found safe.

Kinlaw was last known to be in the Spring Lake area in the care of his father, Willard Kinlaw.

On Sunday morning, Spring Lake Police responded to the area of Eppingdale Dr. in Spring Lake in reference to a report of Lucas' disappearance.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of either Lucas Kinlaw or his father, Willard Kinlaw, is requested to contact 911 or Spring Lake Police at 910-436-0350.

At 1:37 a.m., the Chapel Hill Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire on Rogerson Drive. When crews arrived, they found the home fully engulfed in flames and a person dead inside the home.
