6 people shot in 3 separate Durham shootings

The shooting happened around 6 p.m. on Fairview Street.

DURHAM, N.C. — Six people were injured in three different shootings in Durham on Monday,

The first shooting happened around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Delano Street and Fidelity Drive.

One person was shot. Durham police said the victim had non life-threatening injuries. 

In the second shooting, three people were shot, including one person in the head, in Durham on Monday. The drive-by shooting happened around 6 p.m. on Fairview Street.

Durham police said the man shot in the head is in critical condition.

The other two people shot are expected to recover.

The third shooting, which was at the same location on Delano Street as the second shooting, happened just before 9 p.m. Monday.

Two victims, a male and a female, had non life-threatening injuries.

All three shootings remain under investigation.
