It's Wednesday and that means it's time to fess up - how did you do this week? Lose any weight? If you are new to the Wednesday weigh-in, a number of us are doing a 25 lb weight loss challenge. But even if you only have 5 or 10 lbs to lose, please join in!
This week I lost 2 more lbs. for a total of 13.5 lbs since the challenge started 6 weeks ago. That's an average of 2.25 lbs per week - a very comfortable number to keep up week after week. I was hoping for a 3 lb loss, but did not have the time to exercise enough this week and well, I simply ate more than I should have for dinner the last 2 nights.
I am really happy that there have been some very good fresh produce prices in the last couple weeks including .99/lb grapes, .99/lb squash, Florida tomatoes (which were delicious) at a local roadside stand for $1.50/lb, and more. Strawberry season is here so we will be eating plenty of those yummy berries in the next few weeks. I promise not to dip them (all) in chocolate like I did Monday night! :-)
