The NC Dept.of Justice has issued a gift card alert warning that you could be losing some of the value of your gift cards if you wait too long to use them.

Some gift cards won't begin charging fees until a year after they have been purchased. Some gift cards can start taking away fees from the balance of the card right away including some from shopping malls and banks. Click the link in the box for all the details.
