There are a number of frugal activities and events to enjoy this weekend. My first frugal suggestion is to enjoy the outdoors! It looks like it is going to be a beautiful weekend. After soccer practices Saturday morning, we are going to do some much needed work on the front yard - trimming, mulching, training the crazy gourd vines so they don't take over the entire driveway.
Here are some other fun activities to enjoy if you don't want to come help us in the yard:
Free Build and Grow event at Lowes Home Improvement on Saturday 8/28
from 10 –11 AM. Kids get to build a wooden school bus with compartment for holding important kid stuff as well as a chalkboard and chalk. This summer, each child who attends an event also receives a coupon for a free junior Frosty from Wendy’s. You will need to register for this free event because they are very popular! There are a number of events happening at the NC State Fairgrounds
this weekend including a free Summer Arts and Crafts Extravaganza, free Children's Good News Spectacular and the Body, Mind, Spirit Expo ($12 for adults and kids 10 and under). Click HERE for the details.
