The  3-week coupon deals from Lowe’s Foods are still active, there are lots of e-vic specials from Harris Teeter and tons of items that qualify for the P & G promotion detailed below. It’s also the week for St. Patrick’s day meals including deals on cabbage and corned beef at almost every store.

P & G Year of Savings Promotion

This week there are lots of Proctor and Gamble products on sale that qualify for the Year of Savings coupon booklet rebate. You can also see the list of coupons in the booklet at the website.

Kellogg’s Cereal Deal

There is a Kellogg’s cereal deal out this week that matches well with recent coupons. Unfortunately, none of the cereals are on sale so the final price after the promotion and coupons is not all that impressive.

Kellogg’s Cereal Deal:
Buy 3 Kellogg’s Cereals, 12 oz or larger, any variety, get $3.00 off
Buy 4 Kellogg’s Cereals, 12 oz or larger, any variety, get $4.00 off

Buy 5 Kellogg’s Cereals, 12 oz or larger, any variety, get $5.00 off

There are coupons available for tons of Kellogg’s cereals including:
Kellogg's All-Bran, Frosted Mini-Wheats and/or Raisin Bran 11.4 oz or larger from 3/7
Kellogg's Froot Loops, Corn Pops and/or Apple Jacks any 10 oz or larger from 3/7
Kellogg's cereals any 10 oz or larger any flavor from 2/7
Blinkie coupons (red boxes on shelves) for Aple Jacks, Froot Loops and Corn Pops for .70 each (although I have not seen them) which may double
Kellogg’s Mini wheats, Raisin Bran or All-Bran printable for $1.50/2

http://www.redplum.com/

Cereal Scenario: Buy 4 boxes of Raisin Bran and/or Mini Wheats for $3.49 each = $13.96
Then get $3 off at the register = $10.96
Then use 2 of the $1.50/2 printable coupons= $7.96 for 4 = $1.99 each

$1.99 per box is not really a good deal. My usual price to pay for name brand cereal is .75 per box or less. It is much cheaper than $1.99 per box at CVS this week with the cereal deal I discussed in the Drug Store deals post on Sunday.

Also, there is a Catalina (register coupon you can use on your next order) deal that runs through 3/10 (THE FIRST DAY OF THIS SALE ONLY)

Buy (3) & get $1.00 coupon
Buy (4) & get $3.00 coupon

Buy (5) or more & get $4.00 coupon

So, if you buy 4 boxes using the scenario above and get a $3 Catalina coupon to use on another order your total per box after 2 printable coupons, $4 off at register and $3 Catalina coupon = $4.96 for 4 ($1.24/box – still not a great deal, but an ok deal if you really need cereal)
