53-year old behavioral health employee charged with raping disabled 19-year old client
Timothy Lynn Alford, 53, was charged with raping a 19-year old, disabled woman, who was a client at the behavioral health center where he worked.

Alford was also charged with misdemeanor sexual battery.
The woman was taken to UNC Hospital to have a sexual assault kit completed, which was placed into evidence at the Alamance County Sheriff's Office and sent off for testing.
Investigators conducted multiple interviews and follow ups with Alford's colleagues. They also collected the suspect's DNA after gaining a search warrant for his private residence.
Alford was arrested Monday. He is being held on a $75,000 bond.
