It's time again for the Southern Women's Show, that annual gathering of food, beauty, design and health vendors and organizations from across the Triangle and the country.

The event runs Friday through Sunday at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in west Raleigh. Tickets in advance are $10 online and $12 at the door. Kids ages 6 to 12 are $6. Kids under 6 are free with a paying adult.

More than 450 exhibitors will offer up gourmet treats, fashion accessories and much more. This year, the show's celebrity guests include Vern Yip, nationally known designer, author and TV host, and Savannah Chrisley of Chrisley Knows Best.

Over three days, the show will draw thousands to the fairgrounds. It's next to impossible to describe every single thing that's happening during the event. But here are some highlights.

5 things to know about Raleigh's Southern Women's Show

Catch the stars

Yip is best known from HGTV and his four seasons on TLC's popular show, "Trading Spaces," which is now making a spring 2018 return. Yip and others from the original cast are returning. You can catch him at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, on the Fashion & Entertainment Stage, where he'll be sharing design advice, home decor tips and a glimpse into what viewers can expect from the new season of "Trading Spaces."

Chrisley, 19, is the youngest person to appear on HSN with her fashion line called "Faith over Fear." She'll be on the Fashion & Entertainment Stage at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, sharing details about her family's show, "Chrisley Knows Best," and what it's like growing up under the eye of her protective father.

Save some cash

Tickets are just $5 after 5 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. Friday evening, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., also happens to be Girls' Night Out. Go there for shopping, a glass of wine, a firefighter fashion show, prizes and more.

Bring your daughter or mother

Sunday is Mother Daughter Day at the show, featuring special activities, giveaways and stage performances. At 1:30 p.m., a Frozen sing-along and storytime with Elsa and Anna is planned. Little ones can get their picture taken with the Frozen sisters too.

Support a local teen's efforts

A local 10th grader at Cary’s Green Hope High School is using his creative talents and internet savvy to make an impact on his less fortunate peers. Wilson Matsuo founded the Etsy shop, “Loved By Wilson,” in 2016 to sell bags that he's made, according to the show.

All of the proceeds benefit One Simple Wish, a nonprofit granting wishes to the more than 500,000 children in the U.S. foster care system. Wilson also donates one handmade bag for every bag purchased.

Find LovedbyWilson at Exhibit #412.

See me and Faye!

OK, maybe not the big draw, but I - Sarah, editor of Go Ask Mom - will be there from noon to 2 p.m., Friday, at the WRAL-TV booth. Stop by and see me!

And, Faye Prosser, with the WRAL Smart Shopper blog, will appear on the Spotlight Stage at 12:30 p.m., Friday, 11:30 a.m., Saturday, and 3:30 p.m., Sunday. She'll teach you techniques to cut your grocery bills in half and offer up some giveaways, door prizes and lots of money-saving information.
