4 Charged in Fuquay-Varina Drug Bust

Three of the suspects face 14 charges involving heroin, cocaine, methadone, marijuana and prescription painkillers.

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — Police arrested four people late Wednesday in an ongoing drug investigation in Fuquay-Varina.

Three of the suspects face 14 charges involving heroin, cocaine, methadone, marijuana and prescription painkillers.

Clifton Wayne Bailey, 32, of 6304 Ten Ten Road in Apex, is charged with one count of possession with intent to sale and deliver marijuana and one count of sell or deliver marijuana.

Tamitha Denise Hicks , 42, of 641 Angier Road in Fuquay-Varina, is charged with three counts of trafficking heroin. one count of possession with intent to sell and distribute methadone and one count of selling and distributing methadone.

Ellis Elder Ray, 56, of 102 Fayetteville St. in Fuquay-Varina, is charged with two counts of trafficking oxycodone, two counts of maintaining a dwelling to manufacture, keep and sell a controlled substance and two counts of trafficking methadone.

Dwayne Dion Bailey, 49, of 112 N. West St. in Fuquay-Varina, was charged on an outstanding warrant for simple worthless check.

To date, the drug investigation has resulted in the arrests of seven people. Investigators say they are still looking for more suspects.
