Three teenagers have been charged with shooting an employee outside a Durham McDonald's on Halloween.

DURHAM, N.C. — Three teenagers have been charged with shooting an employee outside a Durham McDonald’s on Halloween.

An 18-year-old employee was taken to a local hospital following the Oct. 31 shooting at the McDonald’s at 3844 South Roxboro St.

Ishmel McFarland, 16, Derran McClain, 16, and Isaiah Hargo, 16, all of Durham, have been charged with attempted first-degree murder, felony conspiracy, possession of a handgun by a minor, malicious assault in secret, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and discharging a firearm within city limits.

Authorities do not believe the shooting was a random incident.

McFarland was arrested Thursday afternoon and Hargro was arrested the following Wednesday evening, but police were still searching for McClain.
