3 shot, 1 killed overnight at New Bern shopping center

Officers found three people with gunshot wounds in the 1500 block of South Glenburnie Road around 3 a.m.

The victims were seen in the parking lot of Marketplace Shopping Center.

One man was pronounced dead. Another man was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition. The third victim is believed to be the shooter and being treated for his injuries. He will be charged after he is released from the hospital.

The names of those involved weren't released. Police said there is no ongoing threat to the community.
