CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Three people were injured, including one suspect, after two men robbed a business in Chapel Hill on Monday night, police said, and a second suspect was at large.

Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the La Nueva Guadalupana on West Rosemary Street at 8:12 p.m.

Two men entered the store with a revolver and a BB gun, police said. A fight broke out between the suspects and store employees.

Officials said one of the workers was shot in the leg and another worker was cut and hit on the head. One of the suspects also suffered a cut to the head.

All three were transported to UNC Hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said both guns were recovered at the scene.

The other suspect fled the scene, police said. He is believed to be a male wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt with text on the back and white Nike shoes with dark accents.

Police said that suspect was also possibly cut during the fight. He was seen fleeing in a silver car, possibly an Acura.

Chapel Hill police said to call 911 if you see the suspect.
