CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A wreck near the Orange-Durham county line on Saturday evening left three people injured, state troopers said.

The two-vehicle wreck at Erwin and Whitfield roads, between Durham City and Chapel Hill, happened at about 7:15 p.m. At least two people were pinned in after the wreck, Orange County officials said.

Three people were taken to Duke University Medical Center, but troopers withheld information about their injuries.

Troopers said the driver that caused the wreck fled from the scene, but was eventually caught.
