FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Detectives arrested a second teenaged suspect in the armed robbery of an 81-year-old woman in January.

Investigators said Ryan Detrell Robinson, 16, of Parkton, conspired to rob the woman of cash and steal a pickup truck from her home on Gainey Road on Jan. 18.

Robinson also helped steal a 1995 Ford vehicle from the Right Track Group Home, 162 Sally Hill Circle. That truck was used in the robbery, detectives said.

Deputies charged Robinson with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit a felony. He was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center on a $5,000 secured bond. His first court appearance was set for Monday, Feb. 4.

Dustin Shane Mantz, 17, of 162 Sally Hill Circle, Robinson and an unidentified accomplice were wanted in connection with the robbery. Deputies said Mantz threatened the woman with a gun, while the teens ransacked her bedroom and stole her 1996 Nissan pickup truck, jewelry and $60.

Deputies captured Mantz Friday in a wooded area in Parkton after a brief foot chase.
