28-year-old oyster tonger proud of his fishing heritage

Tanner Lynk is 28-years-old and tongs for oysters part time on the North River off Carteret County. He uses tongs to poke and prod the riverbed and then scoops what he hopes are good-sized oysters, ready for the dinner plate.
