— Three people were killed in Lumberton on Friday night, officials said.

When police arrived to the scene of a shooting on the 100 block of Randy Street they found Ryan F. Locklear, 24, from Pembroke, and Treyvon Mitchell, 20, from Lumberton, dead.

While at the scene, detectives learned that a third person had been shot and started calling local medical centers to try and locate the person. During the investigation, officials received a 911 call about a body found away from Randy Street.

Investigators identified that man as Da'Vern Inman, 20, from Orrum, and said his shooting death was connected to the one on Randy Street.

Dekota Ray Locklear, 23, from Lumberton, was arrested and charged with three counts of first degree murder, two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, one count of discharging a weapon in a vehicle to incite fear and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Locklear was held in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.

"To reduce crime in this county, persons such as this who continue to be a threat to public safety, even while out on bond for other violent offenses, must be dealt with swiftly," Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 910-671-3170.
