Bargain book hunters have a lot to look forward to this week.

Wake County Public Library's annual book sale starts Thursday and runs through Sunday at the N.C. State Fairgrounds in west Raleigh. More than 220,000 books, including lots of children's books, fiction, nonfiction and more, will be for sale.

Hours will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday to Sunday.

Book prices start out at $4 for hardbound books and $2 for paperbacks, children's books and media. As the sale continues, prices drop each day.

On Friday, there's a buy one get one free deal.

On Saturday, the BOGO deal continues, and prices drop to $2 for hardbound books and $1 for everything else.

Sunday is bargain day. Get a box of books for just $3.

The sale takes place at the Expo Center, which is near the Blue Ridge Road entrance. You'll find plenty of free parking there. The fair is at 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh.
