The Roman Catholic Diocese of Raleigh was established in 1924 and is composed of 54 counties in eastern North Carolina. The diocese is committed to a number of ministries across the region, including faith formation, multicultural ministries and marriage and family life. As part of its work across eastern North Carolina, the Church leads and supports a number of underserved and at-risk communities, including immigrants and those affected by natural disasters.

Throughout all of the ministries, charities and community work that the diocese is involved in, it remains dedicated to its mission to provide help to those in need by alleviating the effects of poverty, while also fostering hope by developing transformation solutions.
