20-year-old shot at Fayetteville house party

A man was shot early Sunday morning at a Fayetteville house party, according to police.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man was shot early Sunday morning at a Fayetteville house party, according to police.

Officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the home on Helen Street, off Pamalee Drive, around 1:30 a.m., where shots were fired during a party.

Police responded to a crash near the house party several minutes later, where they found Jayden Simmons, 20, with gunshot wounds. An investigation revealed that Simmons was shot at the party.
