2 sought in Durham convenience store robbery

Durham police investigators are asking for information about a Jan. 2 armed robbery at a Kangaroo convenience store.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police investigators are asking for information about a Jan. 2 armed robbery at a Kangaroo convenience store.

Two men wearing masks and armed with guns got out of a whitish/silver sedan and entered the business, at 2503 N.C. Highway 55, around 12:50 a.m. and took cash and tobacco products.

They were seen speaking with the occupants of a greenish Ford Explorer just before the robbery happened, police said.

One man was wearing a red mask, a black shirt and blue jeans. The second was wearing a white mask, a white jacket and blue jeans.
