<b>FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C.</b> — Two people were injured when a car ran into a tree and hit a house in Willow Spring on Friday morning.

The crash happened just after 2 a.m. on Kennebec Road.

A family was inside their home when the car ran into the porch.

A man and woman were inside the vehicle, and one was trapped until first responders arrived, authorities said.

The two were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
