Two teens were injured in a single vehicle accident at Old Fairground Road and Old Stephenson Road in Angier on Thursday afternoon.

ANGIER, N.C. — Two teens were injured in a single-vehicle crash at Old Fairground Road and Old Stephenson Road Thursday afternoon.

Stephen Trulove, 17, and Allyson Rideout, 19, both of Benson, were taken to Wake Med with non-life threatening injuries. A baby, also in the vehicle, was treated and released.

Police said the teens were going too fast around a curve and lost control. The car crashed into a tree.

Police charged Trulove, the driver, with exceeding a safe speed in the curve.
