2 Charged After Pot Plants Found in Child's Closet

A Fayetteville couple has been charged after marijuana plants were found growing in a child's bedroom closet, authorities said Tuesday.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville couple has been charged after marijuana plants were found growing in a child’s bedroom closet, authorities said Tuesday.

Clifton Keith Hall, 29, and Valerie Wright, 27, both of 7947 Maxwell Road, have been charged with one count each of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Wright is the parent of the 6-year-old child, authorities said.

Hall and Wright were released on their own recognizance.
