FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are searching for two men who robbed a bank Friday afternoon.

Authorities said the men entered the Sharonview Federal Credit Union in the 2800 block of Freedom Parkway Drive just before 12:30 p.m.

One man displayed a handgun as they demanded money from the tellers and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Police said one suspect was described as being middle-aged and another was in his 20s. They fled the area in a dark colored SUV.

Anybody with information is asked to call Fayetteville police at 910-703-9279 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in the case.
