The organization is active in advocating for legislation, researching economic and social challenges and reaching out to communities across the state.

The work of N.C. Justice Center specializes in eight areas, with the organization conducting research and fighting for policy changes in each. They include budgets and tax, consumers, education and law, housing and energy, criminal justice, health advocacy, workers’ rights, policy watch, and immigrants’ rights.

Through promoting fair, honest solutions to real problems faced by individuals across the state, the N.C. Justice Center aims to make a positive, lasting impact in the lives of people across North Carolina.
