Building a Foundation of Faith, Academics, and Service

In addition to the innovative, faith-based curriculum, the Franciscan School also heavily emphasizes service, often encouraging students to work hands-on with local nonprofits, community organizations and alumni-founded charities.

The Franciscan School provides students with a strong academic experience rooted in Catholic values.

Recognized in 2011 as a National Blue Ribbon School, the school has grown to become one of the largest private, K-8 schools in the Raleigh area. While the school does promote Catholic traditions and tenants, enrollment is open to children of all backgrounds and beliefs.

In addition to the innovative, faith-based curriculum, the Franciscan School also heavily emphasizes service, often encouraging students to work hands-on with local nonprofits, community organizations and alumni-founded charities. Inspired by the patron Saint Francis of Assisi, the school is dedicated to holistically supporting students — in character, academics, and faith.
