FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A 19-year-old man who admitted that he sexually abused a 5-year-old girl at his mother's daycare will be sentenced in federal court Friday.

Timothy R. Lukens told police that while his mother went to a doctor's appointment on Feb. 10, he watched the children in her daycare, which was operated at their house at 212 S. Dougherty Drive.

He admitted to police that he performed a sex act on the girl in a bathroom, according to an indictment.

The girl told her father's fiancee that she had been "touched" by "Tim," according to the indictment. The girl's statements were reported to military police on Fort Bragg who then turned the case over to the FBI.
