Right, that's what happened to 16 year old Gwen, thank you imani at this gala for the nonprofit be the match for me. It was really exciting. I mean, I didn't know if this is like, how I was going to meet Haven, but I I have been thinking about it for a while now. Gwen is cured now. But three years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare pre cancerous blood disorder known as Mds at 13 years old, her life was on the line. She's a triplet, but both her brothers were tested and they were not a match. That meant they had to turn to the registry. Well, there's really nothing worse than a sick child and your own child. It's earth shattering. So it's been a difficult road. That's when Haven Davis stepped in. A complete stranger from Minnesota turned out, she was a match. She says this decision was a no brainer. It's a 14 year old girl. Okay, I'm in like, there was no other question after that point, Haven went under anesthesia to donate her bone marrow, then be the match, sealed it up and took it all the way to new york. So doctors could bring Gwen back to her vivacious self. I think three people were hugging her out once. I hope you could breathe. That's the best I've ever had.
