Jury rejects claim that writer Nicholas Sparks defamed, violated ex-headmaster's contract
A federal jury on Wednesday dismissed claims of the former head of a private Christian school that novelist Nicholas Sparks unjustly fired him and slandered him when the author said the educator suffered from mental illness.
