HighSchoolOT is previewing the upcoming baseball season with its annual watch list. This year's watch list features 25 names from each of the state's six area codes.

The fourth-annual HighSchoolOT volleyball all-state team features 24 players making a second or third appearance on the team, including two who were three-time first-team selections.
In the final volleyball area code rankings, D.H. Conley is ranked first in the 252, Middle Creek in the 919, Cape Fear in the 910, Reagan in the 336, Cox Mill in the 704, and Brevard in the 828.
Sanderson has the most team titles (11), followed by Cardinal Gibbons (eight) and Charlotte Catholic and Swansboro are tied for third (seven).

The 704 volleyball HSOT Watch List features a returning second-team all-state player.
The third-annual HighSchoolOT all-state baseball team features 19 two-time selections and six three-time picks in South Brunswick's Walker Jenkins, Randleman's Hunter Atkins, Pinecrest's Colby Wallace, Grace Christian of Sanford's Brandon Crabtree, Northwest Guilford's Bristol Carter, and East Surry's Folger Boaz.
Those taken include Sam Kulasingam, Nolan McLean, Marty Gair, Tommy Hawke, Philip Abner, Rhett Lowder, and Michael Carico.
North Stanly High School head football coach Chad Little joined HighSchoolOT to preview the 2023 season for the Comets. Last year, North Stanly posted an overall record of 6-5 and a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A mark of 3-2.
HighSchoolOT's third annual all-state girls basketball team features 32 returning selections, with eight three-time all-state players.
