it like took the wind out of me. It there was a day where my husband and I just like didn't really um, we didn't really know how to proceed because we just thought everything was okay. They didn't know I stayed up the whole night. I would be like on one hour sleep trying to hold meetings and stuff. It was this, yeah, probably the roughest time in my life being a parent of a child with cystic fibrosis in 2022 or 2021 is very different than that of those before us. And we're so grateful. But good gracious. If it weren't for the parents that fought tooth and nail that raised money that did whatever they could to get us here, we wouldn't be in this position. He's super busy. He's been a running club for stride. So he does that twice a week and we're going to run a five K. Together. And then he does soccer. So we have soccer practice and then he has soccer games. My goal is just to ensure that she knows that this is something that is needed. Something that's incredibly important. But at the same time, nothing to ever ever be embarrassed of At the end of the day, um, if we can make this diagnosis less scary or less abnormal. Um, than it is. Um, then that's a win for us.
