16-year-old girl stabbed in Raleigh

Raleigh police said a 16-year-old was sent to the hospital after a stabbing Wednesday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A 16-year-old girl was stabbed in Raleigh on Wednesday night, according to officials.

She was taken to the hospital around 8:30 p.m. after being injured on the 1000 block of Garner Road, police said.

Officials said that she was in serious condition.

The teenager was sent to WakeMed for treatment.

Police have not released any details about her condition or a suspect in the case.
