15-year-old seriously injured in Raleigh shooting

Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a shooting that left a teenager seriously injured.
The shooting happened in the 700 block of Cooper Road, off Poole Road, just before 7:15 p.m.
Police said that, when they arrived, they found the 15-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to WakeMed for treatment, where he remains in serious condition.
Police said this did not appear to be a random shooting.
