15-year-old boy hospitalized after bullet grazes his head

The victim was transported to UNC Nash Health Care for further treatment.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A 15-year-old boy is in the hospital after a bullet grazed his head in Rocky Mount Saturday.

Rocky Mount Police responded to a shooting at approximately 3 p.m. in the 500 block of Clyde St. Officers arrived to find the 15-year-old, who sustained what police call "a graze wound" to his head.

The victim was transported to UNC Nash Health Care for further treatment.

This is an active on-going investigation.
