14-year-old robbed, assaulted at gunpoint in Mebane
A 14 year old was attacked and robbed at gunpoint by his friends early Sunday morning in Mebane, according to a press release from the Alamance County Sheriff's Office.

The teenager was attacked on Dodson Road. The victim reportedly walked four miles back to his home before he was able to call for help because his cell phone was stolen, the release said. After the attack, the victim had to go to the hospital.
Officials identified the attackers to be an unnamed 17-year-old and Luz "Alex" Espana, 18, of Burlington.
Deputies found an iPhone, cash and a jacket that the victim said was stolen at the suspects' homes, according to Espana's arrest warrant.
Espana was charged with one count of felony robbery with firearm or other dangerous weapons and one count of felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
He was transferred to the Durham County Youth Home.
